4 Fun Things To Do With Your Dog This Spring

I know I'm not the only one excited to see that Spring has finally arrived. All the rain this week means green grass and beautiful flowers are just around the corner! For the last few weeks I've been up to my eyeballs in adorable doggos taking advantage of the warmer weather. But it's got me thinking, now that the world is returning to normal, and the weather is warming up, I'll bet there's an abundance of fun to have with my dogs on the horizon!

The DDFL Furry Scurry is back! Live & in Person THIS WEEKEND!!!! The Furry Scurry is a super fun 5k around Wash Park. Followed by an epic after party of pet friendly vendors, including your truly! I'll be there will all my gear taking photo in my fun Spring pop up photo booth for donations to DDFL! I'll be printing on site while the photo paper lasts and you'll get the digital copy for all your social sharing needs. Since it's all about raising money for charity this is a rare opportunity to name your own price for Furever Friends photos. So come by and see me at the Flealess Market from 7am-1pm in Wash Park this weekend!

I can't not mention the fun had at last weekend's Canine Classic after party- Fievel's Follies! The Canine Classic is a 20 year legacy race run in Boulder every year to raise money for Moving To End Sexual Assault (MESA). A division of Mental Health Partners which provides victims support & advocacy. While this year's race was virtual, the afterparty was bumping with dog friendly vendors and activities.

If you're looking for some live entertainment mixed with good food and a little drinking in public, check out the Old Town Arvada Second Saturday's Street-fair! Every second Saturday all Summer long you can meander the bustling streets of Old Town with your pup in tow and enjoy the sights and sounds of the crowd, live music, and a variety of artisans.

The 12th Annual Denver Pet Expo promises to be a great place to find all the things you never knew your dog needed, and maybe even a new friend! With impressive agility demonstrations, nutrition and behavior talks, and even a vaccine clinic there's something there for everyone. Be sure to check their website for details if you're looking for something specific.
