The session fee is $350, which includes your portrait session and a $100 credit toward your artwork.

There is no minimum order. You’ll choose only what you love after seeing your images. Most clients invest around $1,500 in their finished pieces, depending on what feels right for their home.

These photographs are more than ink on paper. They tell your dog’s story, capturing the details and personality that matter most.

What if my dog isn't very well behaved?

These sessions are designed to meet your dog exactly where they are.

With years of experience working with all kinds of temperaments, I adjust the pace and energy to what your dog needs in the moment, whether that means slowing down, giving extra space, building in breaks, or bringing the energy up when it is time to play.

They do not need to sit, stay, or pose. Their personality, quirks and all, is the whole point.

Mine weren't perfect yet we got the most perfect photos!

"Kris was absolutely amazing! We were nervous how our pups would do. She made it so comfortable, and most importantly got some INCREDIBLE shots. From her Instagram, I kept thinking "oh those are just super well behaved dogs", but mine weren't perfect yet we got the most perfect photos! She makes the experience so relaxed and the dogs (and dog parents) match that vibe. Our prints are treasures we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We are so grateful to Kris!"

Puppy in the park

What if my dog can’t be off leash?

Safety is always the priority, and most dogs remain on leash during their session.

I’ll guide you on how to hold the leash in a way that keeps your dog secure and allows it to be cleanly removed in post processing, so your final images feel natural and uninterrupted.

What if I don’t know how to pose?

That’s completely okay. You’re not expected to know what to do, and your dog certainly isn’t either.

There’s no wrong way to show up here. I’ll offer simple direction when needed, but most of the time it feels more like spending time with your dog than performing for a camera.

The goal isn’t perfect poses. It’s honest moments that feel like you.

Where do sessions take place?

We’re lucky to be surrounded by beautiful, dog-friendly spaces here in North Idaho. We can visit your dog’s favorite spot or explore one of the locations I love.

For dogs with mobility concerns, I choose locations that are accessible and comfortable. And sometimes, the most meaningful place to photograph them is right at home.

Comfort and safety always come first.

What happens after our session?

The experience doesn’t end when we pack up the camera and dog treats. After your session, I carefully review what we shot and choose the best photographs from our time together.

A few weeks later, we’ll meet again for your reveal, where I’ll guide you through selecting your favorites and designing artwork that feels right in your home.

Your love deserves more than file space on a hard drive. Printed artwork is how those memories become part of your everyday joy.
