North Idaho Photo Session Locations

Finding the Perfect Photo Session Location

The truth is, we can create meaningful, beautiful photographs anywhere—because what truly matters is the connection between you and your dog. Sometimes, the most perfect location is simply one that holds special meaning to you, whether it’s a favorite hiking trail, your backyard, or the spot where you and your pup spend lazy afternoons.

That said, if you’re looking for something more scenic, some locations naturally lend themselves to stunning backdrops, easy accessibility, and a relaxed experience for both pets and people. Whether you prefer a secluded spot for a low-distraction environment, a park with wide open spaces for play, or a location that’s accessible for all, I can help you find the right fit.

Below, you’ll find some of my favorite locations—each offering something unique for you and your furry companion.

My Favorite Places

Corbin Park, Post Falls

Tucked along the Spokane River, this park is a hidden gem with so much variety and natural beauty, it’s hard to believe it’s just a few minutes from the parking lot!

Farragut State Park

Farragut State Park is one of the most beautiful and versatile locations for a pet photo session. Nestled along the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, it offers the perfect mix of deep forest charm and breathtaking waterfront views

Tubbs Hill, Coeur d' Alene

Located right next to CDA Resort, this trail system is perfect for visitors.

Black Bay Park- Post Falls

Black Bay Park, with its charming landscapes and tranquil ambiance, proved to be the perfect backdrop for a heartwarming photo session.

Rocky Hill Park, Liberty Lake

While not actually in North Idaho, this park is close to the border and offers some lovely features.

Independence Point- Lake Coeur d'Alene

The iconic Coeur d'Alene Resort & Tubbs Hill in your backdrop means you'll go home with some epic vacation photos!

Dog Friendly CDA

One challenge in Coeur d’Alene is that many parks have "no dogs allowed" ordinances, making it tricky to find legal, stress-free locations. For that reason, many of my favorite spots are just outside CDA, where we can relax, explore, and create beautiful images—without breaking any rules.
