Coot Lake

Just a little bit East of Boulder, not to far from the Boulder Reservoir is a small patch of open space with an epic mountain view. A wide dirt trail circles Coot Lake. With lots of overhanging cottonwoods and easy access to the water this is a beautiful northern spot. Though, this park is VERY popular with the locals so it’s a good idea to plan any sessions here for first thing in the morning.
