Frequently asked questions.

These photographs are more than ink on paper. They tell your dog’s story through a thoughtful, creative eye, focusing on the details and personality that matter most.
I take a quality-first approach from start to finish. Sessions are planned & guided with care. And all artwork is produced through professional, archival-quality print labs so your images are made to last, not just for today, but for years to come.
Over time, their meaning often deepens as this season of life becomes a fond memory.
The session fee is $350 and includes a $100 print credit toward your artwork. At your image reveal, you’ll purchase only what you love. There’s no minimum order, and most clients invest around $1400 in their finished artwork.
- What if I don’t know how to pose?
-
That’s completely okay. You’re not expected to know how to pose, and your dog certainly isn’t either.
I’ll gently guide you throughout the session with simple direction and prompts, focusing on natural interaction rather than stiff poses. Most of the time, it looks more like spending time with your dog than standing in front of a camera.
You don’t need to think about where to stand or what to do with your hands. I’ll take care of the guidance so you can stay present.
- Where do sessions take place?
-
We’re lucky to be surrounded by an abundance of beautiful, dog-friendly scenery, and I’m always exploring new locations along the way. We can venture to your dog’s favorite stomping ground for a truly personal touch, or explore some new territory along Lake CDA or the Spokane River, including quiet, tucked-away nooks that suit your dog’s personality and the feel you’re drawn to.
Comfort and safety always come first, and we’ll choose the location together during your planning call.

- What if my dog isn't very well behaved?
-
That’s completely okay. These sessions are designed to meet your dog exactly where they are.
With years of experience working with dogs of all temperaments, I know how to adjust my own energy and the flow of the session to match what your dog needs in the moment. That might mean slowing things down, giving extra space, building in breaks, or bringing the energy up when a dog is ready to play.
Dogs don’t need to sit, stay, or pose to be photographed. The focus is on capturing your dog’s personality, quirks and all, whether that looks like excited wiggles, curious exploring, or staying close by your side.
There’s no right or wrong way for your dog to show up. Being themselves is the whole point.
See how your dog stacks up against some of my most challenging subjects.
- What if my dog can't be off leash?
-
Safety is always the priority, and most dogs stay on leash during their session.
I’ll guide you during the session on how to position and handle the leash in a way that’s comfortable for your dog and easy to remove during editing, so your final images still feel clean and natural.
Your dog never needs to be off leash to create beautiful, authentic artwork.

At Furever Photography, I believe in a personalized approach to celebrating your cherished memories. Rather than simply handing over digital files, I offer a one-on-one Image Reveal & Ordering Session a week or so after your photo session.
During this session, whether we meet virtually or in-person at your home, I’ll guide you through selecting your favorite images and choosing the perfect print options—be it Wall Art, Albums, or custom bundles.
To make things even easier, I also take care of installation, ensuring your vision comes to life without you lifting a finger. From unique Wall Art displays to beautifully crafted albums, I'm here to help you create a display that perfectly suits your style and space.
